MHA Dle is the daily character guesser this site is named after, and the game most players mean when they search for MHAdle or a My Hero Academia dle. One character from the series is hidden each day and you have eight attempts to find them. Every guess is compared with the answer column by column, so even a miss tells you something about the hero, student or villain you are chasing.

The roster holds about 155 characters, from All Might and the students of U.A. to the League of Villains, the Shie Hassaikai and the vigilantes of Naruhata. Easy draws from the faces an anime watcher knows on sight, such as Class 1-A, the Big Three and the core villains, while Hard holds the other ninety or so. Each difficulty is a separate daily with its own answer, streak and leaderboard.

How to Play MHA Dle

Type at least two letters of a name and pick a character from the list. Your guess becomes a row of seven tiles: Type, Gender, Rank, Faction, Family, Arc and Power. Type separates ordinary humans from mutant-type characters such as Tsuyu Asui or Hawks, and Faction places someone in Class 1-A, Class 1-B, the Pro Heroes, the League of Villains or another group.

A green tile is an exact match and a red tile is a miss. Rank is the only column that can turn orange, which happens when your guess sits one step away from the answer on the rank ladder, for example a Top Pro guess against an Elite Pro answer. The Power tile shows your guess's power value with an arrow: up when the hidden character is stronger, down when they are weaker, and green only on an exact tie.

After three guesses you can reveal the answer's faction, after five a blurred portrait, and after seven the first letter of their name. Difficulty cannot be switched mid-run. Signed-in players have their attempts and time posted to that difficulty's daily leaderboard.

Tips to Guess the MHA Character in Fewer Tries

Open with someone whose tiles split the roster widely. A U.A. student is a strong first guess: Faction immediately tells you whether the answer is in Class 1-A, Class 1-B, elsewhere at the school or outside it altogether, and Rank separates students from pros and villains in the same move.

Use Power like a binary search: if the arrow points up from a mid-level student, jump straight to a top pro or an elite villain. Most named families in the roster have a single member, so a green Family tile on a real surname, rather than Unknown, is close to a solve.

Remember that Arc records where the roster files a character, not every arc they appear in. Deku, Bakugo and All Might sit under Origin, while Todoroki is tied to the Sports Festival and Eraser Head to the U.S.J. On Hard, take the faction hint as soon as it unlocks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is MHAdle free to play?

Yes. MHA Dle and every other game on MHAdle run free in your browser with no download. An account is optional and adds leaderboards, synced streaks and card packs.

How many guesses do you get in MHA Dle?

Eight. Hints unlock after three guesses (faction), five guesses (a blurred portrait) and seven guesses (the first letter of the name).

What does an orange tile mean?

Only the Rank column uses orange. It means your guess is one step away from the hidden character's rank, such as Top Pro against Elite Pro.

What is the difference between Easy and Hard?

They are separate daily puzzles. Easy picks from about 65 well-known characters; Hard picks from the remaining 90.

Is this a My Hero Academia version of Loldle?

Same idea, different columns: hero and villain ranks, U.A. classes, villain factions, families and story arcs.
